Jailhouse

i'm sure you're pleased with the architecture

of this prison.

Walls constructed of wild accusations

and buttressed by gaslighting.

All of your bewailing, thick like cement,

caked in your own eyes.

Your stubborn blindness that which forges my chains

and fetters us both to this bridewell.

How carefully you have blueprinted

every labyrinth hall

and strung your threats like tripwire across every exit.

But i won't help you fashion straps of my skin

or deadbolts of my teeth.

You will never engineer a roof that can withstand

the hurricane of my faith.

You brought this upon

yourself.
