Dream Reading

 Jolt awake

from the most welcoming of dreams

warm comforting library

books of all sizes

dim lights

tans and browns

i wish to return

how sad i am but a passenger

on this ride that ins my mind

Have mercy of conscience mine

bring me back to that warm place

where whispers are the language spoken

and learning is but a few words away
