A Poem From A Poet

only a poet
can be poetic
about what hurts him,
others just mourn.

only a poet
can make poems
out of his pain,
others just complain
how they don't want it.
for poets it's deeper than that
the roots are not pulled up
so easy.
oh how it hurts...
