The new dawn, a new rising, True understanding...
When i said that Mercy stood
within the borders of the wood,
I meant the lenient beast with claws
And bloody swift-dispatching jaws.
-Lawrence Springarn
Amid the notes of my koto is another deep mysterious tone, A sound that comes from Within my own breast. There, there you have it. Love. I love myself that much because the world thought otherwise, your god thought otherwise. I would never apologize to you. You lost your love? A chance? You look for sympathy? You will find it in the dictionary between shit and syphilis. I lost my mind, and still it haunts me. The troubled waters Are frozen fast. Under clear heaven Moonlight and shadow Ebb and flow. The memories of a long love Gather life drifting snow. Poignant as the mandarin ducks Who float side by side in sleep. No. No, now there is only ice. It's gone. Is it not gone? God's choices in inflicting suffering are not satisfactory to us, nor are they understandable, unless innocence offends Him. Clearly He needs some help in directing the blind fury with which He flogs the earth. And that is in which why people of our deepest instinct are brought into existence. So that we may bring pain and suffering unto those who need to work for their salvation, so as that they are worthy of god's love. Those who are shunned from it help to make those who arn't worthy of it. We take comfort in knowing there is no God. That we are not enslaved in a Heaven, made to kiss God's ass forever. What we have is better than paradise. We have blessed oblivion. Ignorence is bliss. And we become silent unto the grave. We take comfort in knowing that someday it won't hurt anymore. This pain we have lived with for eternity, so much so that we ourselves know not pleasure for it hurts to think of it. God struck us down and now it hurts to look up. For they may litter the path with their charred and broken bones, but they will can't stop the journey! "I'd yield me to the Devil instantly, Did it not happen that myself am he!" (J.W. von Goethe: Faust: a Tragedy)
