Looky Looky
Brown, Blue or Green
if they have depth
and they grab me
i drown in them
all the same
“I have lost my dewdrops!” Cries the flower to the morning sky that has just lost all its stars... All bleeding stops eventually. I am but a collection of particles, atoms that chose to suffer in unison.
Jolt awake
from the most welcoming of dreams
warm comforting library
books of all sizes
dim lights
tans and browns
i wish to return
how sad i am but a passenger
on this ride that ins my mind
Have mercy of conscience mine
bring me back to that warm place
where whispers are the language spoken
and learning is but a few words away
i called you
my moonlight
My Guiding Moonlight,
i followed you as day
does night and day again.
As sailors to the merciful stars above
Now
i see how rotten
we both have become.
Transient, tarnished Moonlight
no sway you hold over the ships prow any longer,
no more,
despite me wishing on those very same stars,
so unmerciful now,
for this not to be true.
i am not sure
if i will ever be rid of you
the poison that you are
seeping so deeply into so many of these wounds,
the memories and mental anguish you produced
grafted onto me
like some Frankenstein's monster.
You are and always will be the worst Stalingrad
i could have ever envisioned.
The silver lining tho
is all great battles come to an end
all bleeding stops eventually
and despite its gravity
Luna always gives way
to Sol...
